On February 9 at noon New York time (9 AM Pacific, 5 PM London), millions of people around the world will focus their prayers of peace, sending a wave of healing energy to the governments of both the US and Iraq. Join James Twyman and Doreen Virtue in manifesting a peaceful conclusion to this standoff in the Middle East. The vigil will be called The Great Experiment III, following on other experiments in recent years. Technicians will be with James Twyman and a large group of Lightworkers in Jerusalem taking measurements to hopefully prove the effectiveness of this prayer technology. Please pass the word to everyone you know, and most of all, participate by adding your own energy. (James will be in Israel instead of Iraq because Jerusalem is the cradle of the three major mono-theistic religions, and is in many ways the most powerful vortex in the Middle East.)

Mother Teresa once wrote a prayer, which is an adaptation of the Prayer of St. Francis, that clearly shows the path to peace.

"When I am hungry, give me someone that I can feed. And when I am thirsty, give me someone who needs a drink. When I'm cold, give me someone to keep warm. And when I grieve, give me someone to console."

So...if you want something the only way to truly have it is to give it to someone else. We are seeking the experience of oneness, for only then does the Peace of God flow into our lives. Therefore, we're asking you to join the millions of people who'll spend February 9th giving peace and compassion to everyone they meet. Let it be an active prayer you live all day long, enjoying your peaceful and compassionate actions and interactions with others. Go out of your way to bring smiles to others, and set the intention that the energy of this living prayer. It's that simple. Then at (time) on the same day, join us as we focus our prayers of peace, sending healing light to dissolve the hatred and suspicion that could lead to war. Some will think it naive and simplistic, but we believe that our loving actions are what will heal the world, and that our prayers of peace are the most powerful force in the Universe. This is the Spiritual Art of Peacemaking.

We are also gathering together 100,000 trained Emissaries of Peace to stand at the front line of this prayer vigil, activating an ancient technology of prayer at the same moment. These people have undergone several weeks of training through the Internet, and you are welcome to join them. Beloved Friends,

In a few days sixty Emissaries of Love will travel with me to Israel and Palestine, and all of you, over 100,000 people from around the world, will be with us. Most of you have been opening your heart through the exercises shared in the Spoonbenders Course, and are ready to apply this miraculous energy on February 9th to the Great Experiment III. Our mission will be to anchor that Light and focus it through a powerful vortex in Jerusalem, then extend it to the whole Middle East. There also should be hundreds of Israelis and Palestinians joining us in Jerusalem. We have been called together as Spiritual Peacemakers, and we KNOW that we will be successful. Thank you for answering the call.

We have received hundreds of e-mails from people who have been profoundly transformed by the four lessons. (The additional two will be available in a few days.) Some were able to bend the spoon with their hearts and minds, and others were not. But since the ultimate goal was much higher than this, it doesn't really matter. Everyone I have talked to has experienced huge shifts in their lives, and most finally realize that they were born to be Miracle Workers in the world. On February 9th we will have the first chance to apply this realization to the current world crisis, and in doing so will prove that the mystics were right when they said that prayer is the most powerful force in the universe.

The moment we have been waiting for has almost arrived. I wanted to send this e-mail with a few final words before I leave on the journey to the Holy Land.

The prayer vigil does not take place for a few minutes on a single day. Treat February 9th as one of the most sacred days in your life. Reach out and feel all the Beloveds who are with you throughout the world. Pray often and send Light to them all. The more you send the more impact you will feel. There is an illusion we must address if we are to fully appreciate our role. There really aren't 100,000 people participating in this prayer, but ONE heart and mind. That is where the power can be found. That is how we will change the world. I encourage you to spend time in the chat room (emissaryoflight.com, bottom of page) during the day and connect with your brothers and sisters. You may even choose to be in the chat room at the moment of the vigil. Do whatever works for you, but realize that we are doing this together. One Heart/One Mind.

You have hopefully had time to experiment with the exercises presented in the course. Follow your own heart. Do what works for you. I have presented meditations and exercises that have helped open my own heart, but we will all respond differently. You are being called to be Spiritually Mature, and that means following your own inner guidance. My personal goal isn't to walk in front of anyone, but beside everyone.

As you already know, I will be traveling to Korea in late February, and we will activate this energy again at that time. Our next course, "The Art of Spiritual Peacemaking," will be available sometime before that journey. I am more excited about this than I was the Spoonbenders Course. Now that we have opened the appropriate doors, we must learn how to walk in the New World. That will be the focus, applying these skills and tools to shift the whole paradigm.

Gratitude: I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the last month as we presented this important material. It is important to know what we have accomplished together. No one has ever had the kind of impact we have had with an Internet program. It has been remarkable, and we will all be strengthened by it. In some ways we were not prepared for the response or the challenges. I have learned how important it is to choose words very carefully when describing these processes. For example, we originally described the Spoonbenders Course as "free or by donation course," and though we were true to this, some people were confused when we used the word "scholarship" instead of "free" in the course description. (It should be mentioned that over 13,000 people have taken the Spoonbenders Course at no cost.) Most of you have been very understanding, and yet we apologize for the confusion.

For those of you who made a donation, know that they are being put to good use. We close on the property that will be used for the children's retreats in a few days, and there is something else planned that we will let everyone know about very soon. All I can tell you now is that it is VERY exciting.

I may not be able to send another mass e-mail before the February 9 event, but I believe you know what you need to do. You were born for this time, and we are ready to assume our role as Emissaries of Light and Love.

I am writing this letter from the city of peace, the city of Prophets and saints. I have been in Israel for five days with seventy Emissaries of Light and Love preparing for the Great Experiment III on February 9, and I felt it was time to send you our love and prayers. I cannot begin to tell you of the powerful shifts that have been taking place. The soil is being tilled, and in a few days a seed will be planted that will transform the entire region. You are all here with us, and we are so grateful.

Today we spent time at the River Jordan, the same place where Jesus was baptized. It was the most beautiful weather since we arrived, and each person offered their prayers as well as what they needed to release in order to accept their missions as Spiritual Warriors. Many tears flowed, and no one left the same person. It was one of the most powerful moments of my life, and I knew the scene was set for a day of miracles.

I have been feeling the children powerfully present with us since we arrived. The message is always the same: "This is the moment. Love is the way." It is impossible for us to know what needs to happen in the world today, or how peace will come. But if we continue to ask to be used as Instruments of Peace, then love will prevail. It must! This is the message of the Psychic Children, and they are overjoyed with how many people are participating in this great mission. Thank you for playing your part.

I will send an e-mail reporting everything that happened here within a few days of the experiment. Please continue to hold us in your prayers until we return safely, and we will continue holding all of you in our hearts. I cannot overstate how important this mission is. We must be ready to take the final step into a world of compassion and peace, and February 9th will be our chance to affirm this reality. We are working together as one heart and mind, and nothing can stop us from this Destiny of Grace.
